Pre/post-op Follow-up
As soon as you arrive, the healthcare personnel will welcome and help you become comfortable and familiar with your new environment.
You'll be able to identify the profession of the different people you meet thanks to their clothes and badges.
If you ask for a single room, it will be given you depending on availability.
You must respect all hygiene measures, safety regulations posted in the hallways, and no-smoking signs. We would also like to remind you that animals are forbidden.
For your comfort ...
Hospital doctors will inform your physician of the details concerning your stay in hospital.
We advise you to leave your jewellery, valuable objects or money in the establishment's safe deposit box, since Management declines all responsibility concerning objets which have not been placed in its care. You may have a television and a telephone with direct access to the outside. You may receive and send mail. If made possible, a member of your family may have an extra bed and have his/her meals with you. For details concerning invoices and sick leave, you may consult the practical information sheet.
For your meals
You'll find in your room a practical information sheet listing all services provided by the establishment as well as the various timetables, meals, visits, etc...
The food service offers meals that are adequate to your situation and monitored by a dietician. For all foods and beverages brought from the outside, we recommend that you inform the hospital care personnel, so as to avoid any possible medical contraindications.
For your personal visits
For your peace and quiet, we advise you to limit your visits to three people. We remind you that a prefecture decree forbids visits by children less than 15 years old.
In order to avoid disrupting caretaking, we ask you to respect visiting hours.
You may ask for assistance by a religious minister of your choice (a chaplain is available at the establishment).
There is a chapel, which is open to all. |
